Horse Drag Racing & Fun Horse Games

Horse Drag Racing:

Watch some of the best Cowboys and Cowgirls from the East Coast race down the "Drag Strip", Horses will run on the infield grass along side the drag strip for approx 330 ft using the staging lights just like the drag racers.

Gymkhana are games on Horseback - 5 in total

Musical feed sacs , just like musical chairs, when the music stops your horses hoof must be on a feed sac or your OUT

Pin drop, run down the arena, pick up a bowling pin thats on a barrel, run back twords the starting line and throw the pin in an open end barrel, you miss, its a 5 sec penalty

Phone Book Race. pic a name out of a hat, ride your horse down to a phone book , find the name rip it out of the book and run back to the finish line while on your horse.

Soda Can Race run down the arena to a barrel where you soda is, open the can, drink it all down. get back on your horse and ride to the finish line

Barrel Dash run down around the barrel on race back to the finish line

1/8 Mile Truck Drag Racing

Attention all 4 x 4’s, Trucks, Jeeps & SUV’s!
Come on out to Shake the Lake and enter the Truck 1/8 mile Drags. It’s only $10.00 more! A helmet is mandatory- if you don’t have one, you can rent or buy one at RacewayPark. Compete for trophies in the handicapped trophy Truck Class or Race your buddy in the Fun Truck Class! Anybody can do it and compete at the Famous Old Bridge Township Raceway Park Drags!

Car & Truck Show

Any domestic or import, truck, car or motorcycle are welcome. For Just $10.00 additional dollars, you can vie for a Giant Shake the Lake top 50 Show Trophy. Bring your Pride & Joy out for a great day in a spectacular festival atmosphere.

Rock Crawl Exhibition

See approximately 30 professionally built crawl trucks traverse a professionally built course. Hint! View it from the Finish Line Tower Beer Deck! It’s awesome!

Premio Sausage Eating Contest
Starts @ 2pm at the stage

Listen to your favorite Song, as you Swim in our Lake!

Our Lake, like most lakes is shallow (only 5” at deepest) and has a muddy bottom! So water shoes are suggested! Don’t forget to bring your inner tubes, towels and your sunscreen! You bring the inner tube and, we’ll give you the air for free!

Best camouflage outfit for men and women
• NO REAL FIRE ARMS, BOWS AND ARROWS AND OR KNIVES WILL BE TOLERATED
• Uses of props are highly encouraged, but not necessary
• Audience participation will improve contestants score
• Contestants will be judged in their respective age groups
• Contestants will be judged on their creativity
• There will be no obscene outfits, remember this is a family atmosphere YOU WILL BE ELIMINATED AND ASKED TO LEAVE
• Clothing can be homemade or store brought
• Most of all have fun with it.

Wife Callin/signifigant other contest
• Contestants will be given 30 seconds
• One of the primary criteria upon which contestants are judged is creativity
• Contestants are to be judged on their ability to enunciate their calls clearly and loudly
• The excitement of the audience weighs heavily on the contestants score
• OPEN TO CONTESTANTS 18-0VER
• Use of props are not necessary, but highly encouraged
