If a Wednesday Moto Race Track Practice prior to a race weekend is cancelled due to weather, we may open on

Many MX racers begin when they are quite young, having been introduced to the sport by their parents as a family activity. But even if you have no experience, it’s never too late to start. If you love trail riding, or perhaps rode dirt bikes at an early age, come check out the Practice MX tracksat Raceway Park. We have Practice Tracks that serve every level of rider comfort or our AMA certified Race Track. You can also and sign up for our
MX classes
to sharpen your skills and introduce you to the competitive world of MX racing.
PRIVATE LESSONS: We've got race classes, and facilities that cater to every level of rider. For thos looking for an education, Classes are conducted in either private lessons, or for more experienced riders, in an MX Racing School headed up by Richard Schmidt, #775. Rich is the Raceway Park MX Track Manager, a New Jersey State Certified Teacher, motocross instructor since 1993, professional racer since 1994, and official “Motocross Professional” for the NJ State Police.
Private lessons offer the “do's and don'ts” of the Raceway Park Motocross race track, while the MX Racing School focuses on learning more MX techniques such as correct body positioning and techniques of starting, braking, cornering, jumping, passing, whoops, bike set-up, physical and mental training, and more. Either way you enjoy the awesome layout and obstacles our track presents, including the largest man made jump in the world—the staircase!
The MX Racing School offers
convenient schedules
and is open to anyone interested in becoming a better, safer, and faster rider. All instruction is held at Englishtown’s Raceway Park. If you would like to visit our MX tracks, please contact us to make further arrangements.
