High School Challenge
ONE DATE SET FOR HIGH SCHOOL CHALLENGE IN 2008
On July 13th, Raceway Park will hold its High School Challenge race, once again sponsored by Jim Harrington's Drag Racing School. The class is open to any student who graduated or will be graduating from High School in 2008. The lucky winner at the end of the event will be awarded with a Raceway Park Points Champion embroidered jacket, and will attend the NHRA Division 1 Summit E.T. Finals to help represent the 2008 Raceway Park team on September 25, 26 and 27 at Maple Grove Raceway.
QUALIFICATIONS: Car must run a 12.00 ET or slower. The car must be non-modified, all 4 tires MUST be D.O.T. approved-NO SLICKS, and no electronics are allowed. The student must have a valid driver's license and be in High School in 2008, or graduated in 2008. 17 year olds must have a parent or guardian on premises or have a signed AND notarized insurance release form.
