MEMORIAL HIGH
SCHOOL CHALLENGE
On May 22nd Raceway Park
will hold its Jim Harrington Memorial High School Challenge race. The class is open to any student who
graduated or will be graduating from High School in 2011. The lucky winner at the end of the event will
be awarded with a Raceway Park Points Champion embroidered jacket and will
attend the NHRA Division 1 Summit E.T. Finals to help represent the 2011 Raceway Park team on September 22, 23 and 24,
2011 at US 13 Dragway.
QUALIFICATIONS: Car must run 12.00 ET or
slower. The car must be stock-appearing,
all 4 tires MUST be D.O.T. approved-NO SLICKS, and no electronics are allowed. Street-type exhaust required. The student must have a valid driver’s license
and be in High School in 2011, or graduated in 2011.
17-year-olds must have a parent or guardian
on premises or have a signed AND notarized insurance release form. If student wins the High School race during
the Bracket Finals, must be 18-years of age to compete in California.
